We’re the dedicated charity for the Western Eye Hospital
We’re proud to support patients and NHS staff at the Western Eye Hospital, a specialist eye hospital based in Marylebone. The hospital:
- has a dedicated A&E department for eye emergencies
- provides a range of outpatient, inpatient, day case and surgery services
- offers the only service of its kind in west London, exclusively providing emergency eye treatment for both adults and children.
We’re grateful for each and every donation we receive to support the patients and NHS staff at the Western Eye Hospital. Your incredible generosity enables us to make a real difference at the Western Eye, funding improvements to hospital buildings and facilities, ground-breaking research and innovative medical equipment.
DONATE NOW TO SUPPORT THE WESTERN EYE HOSPITALHow donations have made a real difference at the Western Eye Hospital
Thanks to your generous donations, we’re able to provide extra support for patients and NHS staff at the Western Eye Hospital.
Here are just a few examples of how your support is making a real difference:
- We’ve awarded funding to support the work of the hospital’s Imperial College Ophthalmology Research Group.
- We’ve helped clinicians speed up treatment for patients with an eye disease known as keratoconus using a specialist ultraviolet light machine.
- We’ve supported staff in establishing a mobile eye clinic, the i-Van, enabling many more patients to receive eye examinations without needing to attend a hospital appointment.
- We’ve added colourful, vibrant artworks to the hospital’s hallways and waiting areas to create a warm and welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
- We’ve worked with hundreds of dedicated volunteers to welcome patients as they arrive, help visitors find their way around and support NHS staff.
