In Sheffield, designer Emily Williams teamed up with The Framery, a fine art printers and framers and created a group of poignant prints for a series titled Frontline, sold to benefit NHS Charities Together and the Sheffield Hospitals Charity. Celebrating the dedication of the police service, teachers, firefighters, the NHS, the armed forces and supermarket workers during these unsettling times, each artwork stands as a buoyant promise of hope and unity.
Williams said “After feeling somewhat helpless over the last few weeks, it’s been incredible collaborating with The Framery on these prints. From soldiers to supermarket staff, my artworks celebrate just some of the many inspiring frontline heroes who are doing what they can to shield us from harm.”
Whilst the pandemic will end, these enduring prints will serve as a reminder of those we relied on so heavily to keep the nation functioning throughout and will continue to in the difficult days still to come.
